Using Shivacab
What We Do
Shivacab is the most reputable taxi service in Varanasi, providing luxurious, safe, and dependable transportation both inside and beyond the holy city. Shivacab makes every journey smoother with expert drivers, 24/7 availability, and a commitment to customer satisfaction—whether it’s for temple visits, airport transfers, or local travel.
What You Agree To
When you use Shivacab, you agree to;
- Provide accurate info (name, contact details, pickup location, etc.).
- Use the service for lawful, personal transportation only.
- Treat drivers and other users with respect.
- Pay for the ride through the available payment methods.
Booking & Cancellation
Making a Booking
You can book a ride immediately or schedule one for later. Once confirmed, we’ll match you with a nearby driver.
Cancelling a Ride
You can cancel a ride anytime before pickup, but A cancellation charge may apply if the driver is already en route.
We do this to respect drivers’ time and efforts.
Payments
How Payments Work
Rides can be paid via secure online payment (credit/debit cards, wallets) or cash, if available in your area.
Cab fares are negotiable; after making a reservation, you can discuss the rate with the driver.
Safety and Behavior
Our Commitment
Your safety is our priority. All drivers are verified and trained to provide a professional and safe experience.
Your Role
You agree to;
- Wear a seatbelt.
- Avoid abusive, unlawful, or inappropriate behavior.
- Not bring hazardous materials or illegal substances.
Our Responsibility
We aim to provide reliable, smooth rides — but sometimes delays, traffic, or technical issues can happen. While we do our best, Shivacab is not liable for:
- Delays due to traffic or weather.
- Lost items left in vehicles (we’ll help you recover them though).
- Any indirect damages caused by service disruptions.
Changes to Services or Terms
We might update these terms or features of the platform from time to time to improve the service. We’ll notify you of significant changes, but it’s good to check this page occasionally.
